What is Silver Sinus Made of?
Silver Sinus ionic/colloidal silver is referenced at 10 parts per million. This means 10 parts silver to 1 million parts water. The size of the silver particles is more important than the parts per million. Read why particle size matters.. There are many different products labeled colloidal silver on the market today. The most common types are particulate (or metallic) colloidal silver and ionic/colloidal silver. Silver sinus is an ionic/colloidal silver solution. This means that majority of the silver is in an ionic form with the balance being in a particulate colloidal form. An ion is an atom that has lost or gained one or more of its electrons and is left with a positive or negative charge. The silver ions are actually dissolved in the water. Particulate colloidal silver is clusters of silver atoms that are submicroscopic in size. These clusters (colloids) of silver particles are suspended and evenly dispersed throughout the solution. All the particles stay dispersed by virtue of Brownian motion and their small size. Both ionic/colloidal silver and particulate colloidal silver have excellent antimicrobial properties. Our ionic/colloidal silver gives you the benefits of both types of colloidal silver. Read our customer testimonials here. |
